Voting and Proposals

Xave Finance's voting portal will allow any governance token holder to stake and vote on proposals initiated by other governance token holders. Your voting rights are directly proportional to the number of governance tokens you own.

Governance token holders can propose and vote for:

  • New stablecoin pairs representing cross border settlement corridors (such as SG:ID enabled by xSGD:xIDR and more)

  • New Xave Strategies that will enable high yields on local stablecoins

  • New collateral types and synthetics to support across the AMM, and Lending Market.

  • Setting protocol parameters, such as (but not limited to)

    • max collateral ratio on the Lending Market

    • swap fees on the FX AMM

    • protocol fees on the FX AMM or Lending Market

    • Deposit/Withdrawal fees on Xave Strategies

  • When to execute buybacks using funds from the Stablecoin Earnings Pools.

  • And many other proposal types

Informal Discussion

The proposal and voting process begins with informal and high-level proposals on Discord and other channels the community chooses. That would be followed by intermediate proposals with some level of detail on Discourse, which could also be linked to proposed changes outlined in a Pull Request or Issue to the Xave Finance Github.
